Gallery artist Barbara Sternberger was awarded a 2020 SOLA Award from the Artist Trust in Settle, Washington. Created by artist Ginny Ruffer, the SOLA (Support Old Lady Artists) Awards are given annually to Washington-based female visual artists, age 60 or over, who have dedicated 25 years or more to their artistic practice. The stipend of $3,000 is unrestricted.
