Artist Talk: Barbara Sternberger

Please join us at Elizabeth Leach Gallery for an artist talk featuring Barbara Sternberger on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 11:00 am. The artist will be discussing her studio practice, the work on view in Breath, and the unique way in which she makes and uses paint bars–dry pigments in a liquid wax binder–to create work. Her new series of abstract paintings visually explore themes of mindfulness and intuition and are deeply influenced by Ch’an Buddhism.
